The Journey So Far
Crackling Creations is the name I use to share the games I design — a personal, ongoing exploration of what makes play meaningful. It’s part of Gnistverket AB, the creative studio I founded in Göteborg, Sweden.
At the heart of it all is me — Björn Tanered, a solo designer, storyteller, and lifelong gamer. I started Crackling Creations as a space to explore ideas freely, experiment with mechanics, and build games that feel both thoughtful and fun.
I work independently, blending traditional tools with digital ones — from sketchbooks to AI-assisted workflows — to shape ideas from spark to prototype to polished experience. Every game is a small world I’ve built, hoping others will step into it and make it their own.
